Alan W. Olson
Alan and two partners bought the CENTURY 21® franchise for Fergus Falls in 1978, after opening a CENTURY 21® office in Alexandria in 1976. With Alan's and his partners' leadership, CENTURY 21® Vista has grown from 5 agents and relatively low sales volume in 1978 to 23 agents and consistently ranking as #1 in all real estate sales in the tri-county area for the last 25 years running. As of 2006, Alan purchased all the stock in CENTURY 21® Vista and is responsible for all four CENTURY 21® Vista offices.
During his 34 years as a Broker/Owner, Alan has always been one of the top listing and selling agents in the firm, specializing in farms, rural and lakeshore property. Alan partners with his wife Judi, whom he credits for his sales and service success.
Having lived in Evansville allowed Alan to provide extraordinary real estate service to the rural areas of the 5 county area. When asked, "Why rural?" Alan stated, "I tried to hire any number of REALTORS® to list and sell my Evansville home in 1975, and when I couldn't, I decided I should become a REALTOR® and specialize in real estate sales in the rural area. In fact, for many years, I was the only rural agent within 20 square miles." As a result of his 34 years of continuous rural countywide real estate specialization, Alan has more experience with rural countywide real estate sales than any other real estate agent in the tri-county area. Now living on the shores of West Battle Lake, Alan and Judi have enhanced their lakeshore real estate presence - an experience that benefits their lakeshore buyers and sellers.
Alan, a Quality Service Award winner, also produces at CENTURY 21® Centurion Award levels, and has also led his firm, CENTURY 21® Vista, to become the largest CENTURY 21® office in Minnesota in sales volume. Judi Olson
Judi is a full-time /Assistant to the Broker and Owner, Alan W. Olson. She offers her clients 35 years of top-quality service, with 35 of those years in sales and marketing. Judi provides excellent assistance to over 100 listings along with the Broker of 34 years. She is a top agent as well, having participated in $14 million in sales in 2009.
Judi has achieved the Certified Residential Specialist designation (CRS), something which only 4% of U.S. REALTORS® achieve. She is also a Graduate of the Institute (GRI), an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and Resort and Recreational sales specialist (RRS) making her well educated and capable of providing the highest quality of real estate service.
Judi works from all four CENTURY 21® Vista offices, but is headquartered in the heart of the lakes area at the Battle Lake location. She is comfortable in the sale of lakeshore, rural land and homes, and commercial property (having owned a supper club for 23 years).
